I am a Professor in the Media School at Hallym University, which is recognized as one of the foremost media schools in South Korea. My research primarily focuses on advertising, new media, health communication, and diversity in the media. I have published extensively in numerous international journals and books in these areas. I am ranked in the top 0.66% of advertising scholars worldwide (ScholarGPS.com) and among the top three scholars in gender in advertising over the past 50 years (Adali et al., 2024). In recognition of my exceptional achievements as an educator and researcher, I have been honored with the Best Teacher Award and the Distinguished Professor Award.
